After its establishment in 1999, the works of Yayasan Kelompok Kerja Visi Anak Bangsa were starting to be popularly known by the general public and the fact attracted many corporations to build a cooperation with the foundation, in order to improve their companies’ image. Bearing in mind that the foundation is a non-profit organization and anticipating the instigation of Law No. 16 year 2001 on Foundation, then the founders restructured the organization in 2000. Apart from adhering to the new foundation regulation, the restructurization was also made to develop financial support for the foundation’s activities. 

Eventually in September 2000, PT Visi Anak Bangsa was established, a company which operates in the field of corporate communications development, particularly through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Well-planned, appropriate and well-directed CSR program is a program of social capital investment of the corporation, which in long terms will be very beneficial to improve the corporation’s image and position in the eyes of the stakeholders. 

Corporate image improvement is done by using various means of communications, including below-the-line communication media that can support the operation of various CSR programs in the corporations. Furthermore, PT Visi Anak Bangsa also conducts advocacy programs that are oriented to regulators, for the sake of public interest and to help building a better business environment, noticing that nowadays there are so many overlapping regulations and law implementation, which become one cause of investments decline in Indonesia and also public distrust towards the government.
